Professor Myles McGregor-Lowndes is a professor at the Queensland University of Technology Business School. He was the foundation director of the Australian Centre of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies at the same university.
He has written extensively about non-profit tax and regulation, non-profit legal entities, government grants and standard charts of accounts as a means of reducing the compliance burden. He is a founding member of the Australian Taxation Office Charities Consultative Committee and the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Advisory Board.
