In Queensland, the Criminal Code Act 1899 (Qld) (Criminal Code) deals with the main sexual offences while the Evidence Act 1977 (Qld) and the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 1978 (Qld) set out the special rules for dealing with the evidence of victims of sexual offences.
