Nicky Davies is the director of the Family Law and Civil Justice Services at Legal Aid Queensland (LAQ).
Nicky was admitted as a solicitor in 1986 and has worked in England and Australia. She is a member of the Children’s Law Committee of the Queensland Law Society. Nicky was a member of the Family Law Council from 2004 until 2012, and convened the council’s Violence Committee. She was a board member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland from 2001 until 2009, including acting as president.
Nicky represents LAQ and the interests of legal aid clients at numerous cross-sector groups about family law, domestic and family violence and child protection.
