Kris Birch is a senior associate at Hall Payne Lawyers and specialises in industrial relations and employment law, and also leads the Queensland criminal law team. Prior to her current role, Kris spent nearly five years working as an Industrial Officer for the Independent Education Union.
Kris is a member of the Queensland Law Society, the Industrial Relations Society of Queensland and the Queensland Council of Civil Liberties. She volunteers with several community legal centres and is a co-author of the employment law chapter of the Queensland Law Handbook.
