Ben Tuckett is the Senior Lawyer in the State Courts Self Representation Service at LawRight. The service assists self-represented litigants in the trial division of the Queensland District Court, Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. The service provides discrete legal and task assistance to self-represented litigants so that they can make informed decisions and take carriage of their legal matters in an appropriate way. LawRight operates a similar model in QCAT and the Federal Court of Australia.

Ben first came to LawRight in March 2014 as a solicitor in the Public Interest Referral Service. From 2015 to 2017, Ben was the responsible solicitor for the Queensland Law Society and Bar Pro Bono Referral Scheme. This service assessed and referred matters to pro bono law firms and barristers. Ben moved to the Self Representation Service in January 2017.
