Chris is an accredited specialist in criminal law and director of Lumme & Associates on the Sunshine Coast, a firm he established five years ago as Lumme Rynderman Legal.

Chris was admitted to practice in 2014 and has practised in criminal law since that time, including domestic violence applications, mental health court and mental health review tribunal. Chris has also prosecuted animal cruelty matters on behalf of the RSPCA.

The focus of Chris’s practice has been the rights of individuals and access to justice by ensuring his firm is able to assist those on grants of Legal Aid or by undertaking pro bono appeals.

Chris is currently a member and chair of the Match Review committee, Code of Conduct committee and Judiciary for Queensland Rugby League.
